The Honor Guard was established to represent the Price County Sheriff's Office, its staff and their families at Law Enforcement funerals, parades and other ceremonial events approved by the Sheriff. The Honor Guard currently consists of a five member team. Participation in the Honor Guard is voluntary and must be approved by the Sheriff. The current Honor Guard consists of Honor Guard Commander Deputy Sheriff David Wesenick, Deputy Sheriff Laurie Zondlo, Deputy Sheriff Stephanie Stafford, Deputy Sheriff Joseph Lillie and Deputy Sheriff Daniel Stanke.
Deputy Wesenick is a graduate of the Wisconsin Honor Guard Association Honor Guard School and a member of the Wisconsin Honor Guard Association (WHGA). He is the Northwestern Wisconsin Regional Representative for the WHGA. The WHGA is made up of well-trained law enforcement honor guard personnel from various agencies across the State of Wisconsin.

The Wisconsin Honor Guard School is instructed by cadre of the Washington DC Metropolitan Police Department Honor Guard and the WHGA. The Price County Sheriff's Office Honor Guard will be trained in the DC Metro Police Department standards in Color Guard, flag folding and presentation, casket watch and movement, rifle salute and parade movement.
The Price County Sheriff's Office Honor Guard is in the beginning stages. In 2013 they conducted a posting of the colors at the Blue Mass at St Therese Catholic Church in Phillips. In 2013 the Phillips Chapter of the Knights of Columbus graciously donated a US Flag set for the Honor Guard. Recently, the department has decided on an official Honor Guard uniform. The uniform is a brown Marine Corps class A jacket with gold trim along with brown pants with gold striping.
The Price County Sheriff's Office Honor Guard may, at times, include law enforcement officers from other agencies in addition to the current Honor Guard members. The Price County Sheriff's Office strives to maintain good relationships with other law enforcement agencies and welcomes their participation.
