Register at Roll-in Point anytime prior to 10 a.m. the day of the tournament. Fishing 7am-5pm; prizes & drawings to follow. Prize money for 1st & 2nd place for longest fish in the following categories: walleye, northern, perch, blue gill & crappie; plus door prizes and basket raffle; food & drinks will be available all day; entrance fee is $10 per person each day (100% payback). Junior category (12 & under) - Prize money for 1st place longest walleye. The proceeds from the raffles will be donated to a local non-profit organization.

Golf the 9-hole par 3 course with plowed fairways and greens on Long Lake, or enter a chili cook-off during this benefit for Flambeau Hospice. The $25 registration fee includes 9 holes of golf, a bowl of chili, and other goodies. Cash prizes for golfing and special prizes for most outrageously dressed golfers. Continuous registration from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. and golfers can begin as soon as they are registered. Call to reserve specific tee times. Tennis “golf” balls are provided; golfers may bring their own clubs (only one club per golfer) or borrow clubs available on site. Call the for chili cook-off rules and to pre-register to donate a crock pot of chili to be judged; traditional and non-traditional categories. Auction begins at 3 p.m. Raffle drawing is at 4 p.m. This fundraiser is organized by Flambeau Home, Health & Hospice.
February 3, 2018, 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM @ Flambeau Hills Ski Trail, West of Phillips
Annual cross-country skiing at night by candlelight beginning at the Flambeau Hills Trailhead. A 1.8 kilometer loop of trail will be groomed, tracked, and lit with over 600 candles. The trail is for skiers or hikers and winds through the heart of the forest. The trail is wide enough for diagonal striders and skate skiers. Picnic tables and a large barbecue grill will be available near the trailhead for persons who wish to cook out. Large warming fires will also be built and maintained throughout the night. The forest staff promotes this as a casual family-type outing and hopes that families and friends come and spend the evening with them. The candles should provide a luminescent atmosphere for all to enjoy. Starting at 5 p.m. that Saturday, all day-use fees at the trailhead will be waived. The Flambeau Hills Trailhead is located on County Hwy. W 20 miles west of Phillips or 15 miles east of Winter. This event will take place regardless of snow conditions.

Enjoy a hearty breakfast including pancakes & eggs and support the Elk River Pioneers Snowmobile Club. There will also be raffles and other fundraisers. Proceeds will fund trail maintenance, community events and an annual high school scholarship. This is a snowmobile club public event. Everyone is welcome to attend.

No entry fee, cash prizes; brats, chili and refreshments will be available to the public starting at 11 a.m. in a heated shelter. Raffle tickets – $2.00 each or 3 for $5.00; prizes – 1st – $300, 2nd – $200, 3rd – $100, 4th – $50, 5th – $50; ticket drawing at boat landing at 3:30 p.m.; about ten (10) miles south east of Ogema.

Come in out of the winter cold and warm up with some great music from TWISTED WHISKER and FLASHBACK. The Bands will be playing two 90 minute sets with a break in between for a good old fashioned catered in country dinner.

Join the Northwoods Hi-Riders Snowmobile Club and dance the night away while participating in raffles for prizes. Located on Trail #116 northeast of Phillips. This is a snowmobile club fundraiser and everyone is welcome to attend. All proceeds will go towards trail maintenance, club expenses, or to local non-profit organizations.

From their mesmerizing rendition of "Sound of Silence" to their playful version of 'Cecilia', prepare to fall in love again with the music of Simon & Garfunkel. The Guthrie Brothers take audiences on a journey of one of the world's most recognized folk rock duos. Through songs, stories and trivia, Jeb and Jock blend their rich voices together to weave an enjoyable tapestry that leaves every audience member smiling and singing along! This performance is part of a Concert Series, and ticket purchase includes membership and admission to eight (8) concerts.
February 16, 2018 - February 17, 2018 @ Birch Island Resort, Bar & Grill, Phillips
Ride the snowmobile trails or drive your vehicle to designated locations and collect cards for the best poker hand; register at 3-Mile Corner, Birch Island Resort, Corner Connection or at the Elk River Pioneer Picnic which starts at 11 a.m. Saturday at Russo’s Hill on Trail #80/#12 southwest of Wilson Lake or at N7375 Carpenter Creek Road. Everyone is invited to sit around the campfire or in the warming house and enjoy a brat or sandwich & snacks, warm up with some coffee or hot chocolate, or have a cold one. There are several businesses participating in addition to the registration stops listed above. Entries must be turned in by 8 p.m. Saturday at Birch Island Resort, Bar & Grill on Wilson Lake. There will be refreshments and raffles while the cards are drawn for the poker hands. Look for posters at participating area businesses. This is a snowmobile club public event. Everyone is welcome to attend. All proceeds go towards club expenses for maintaining the trails.

Join the Northwoods Hi-Riders Snowmobile Club for a one-day poker run. Pick up sheets at Comfort Cove Resort starting at 11 a.m.; $10.00 per sheet. Ride or drive to any of the 17 local participating establishments to draw a card, which is then marked on your sheet. Participants can purchase multiple sheets; one card draw per sheet at each establishment. All sheets must be turned in by 6 p.m. the day of event at Comfort Cove to be eligible for cash awards; guaranteed 3-place pay out for the best poker hands. This is a snowmobile club fundraiser and everyone is welcome to attend. All proceeds will go towards trail maintenance and club expenses.

The Northern Outdoorsmen for Christ (NOC) invite you join them for their 10th annual FREE Wild Game Feed and Sportsmen’s Expo including 20 vendors from 2-5 p.m., a seminar at 3 p.m., Trophies of Grace Presentation at 4 p.m., meal at 5 p.m., keynote speaker at 6 p.m, and prize giveaways at 7 p.m. The wild game feed includes several entrées to choose from as well as side dishes, homemade pies, & beverages.
