If there is a firearm restriction will I always be notified when the firearms have been surrendered?
If an injunction is issued at your hearing, it may have a firearms restriction. If it does, you will be notified when the respondent surrenders any firearms to local law enforcement. The respondent may be able to surrender firearms to a third party, in which case you will not be notified. Please be aware that not all orders have a firearm restriction.
