VPO (Victim Protection Order) is a service through which persons seeking a restraining order can register for automated notification when a temporary restraining order (TRO) has been served or firearms have been surrendered. Telephone Registration You can use the telephone to search for and register to receive notification of when a TRO has been served or firearms have been surrendered by calling 855-948-7648. Web Registration You can search for and register to receive notification about when a TRO has been served or firearms surrendered via VINELink at www.vinelink.com.VPO

To use VINELink to search for service status or firearm surrender status, please follow these steps:VPO
- Go to www.vinelink.com
- Enter the 12 digit WCAP case number. The case number will be the year, followed by the letters CV or FA, and then six numbers. For example: 2013CV000065.
- Enter the respondent First Name.
- Enter the respondent Last Name.
- Enter the County of Issuance, then click Search.
- Complete steps 1 through 5 above.
- Click on the R+ icon under the Add Registration column next to the appropriate case.
- Complete the required information for registration.
- Click Add

If an injunction is issued at your hearing, it may have a firearms restriction. If it does, you will be notified when the respondent surrenders any firearms to local law enforcement. The respondent may be able to surrender firearms to a third party, in which case you will not be notified. Please be aware that not all orders have a firearm restriction.VPO
