The Price County Clerk's Office is a U.S. Department of State Passport Acceptance Agent.  We will process your initial passport application. 

If you are renewing your passport, we have the forms you will need and can assist you through the process, but you will be mailing the application. 

Current processing time is four to six weeks.  An expedited service can be requested for an additional fee. 

We offer passport photos for $15.00.

U.S. Department of State requires a certified birth certificate.  They are also requesting a second copy. We cannot accept an uncertified copy of your birth certificate. But, we can make a copy of the original certificate for you.

Office hours for passport appointments are Tuesdays and Wednesdays, from 8:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Please allow at least 15 minutes for processing time.

When applying or looking for the form online, please be aware of scams. The US Department of State will not charge you to access, fill and/or print any of their forms. Make sure you're in the official Department of State website  before you provide any personal and sensitive information, such as your birthdate and your SSN.
